Founded in 1981, Appalachian Metal Works has built a proud legacy of family, craftsmanship, and dependable service.

Kevin began the company as Parsons Metal Fabricators, Inc. Over the years, the business grew as family members joined the team,  including Kevin’s brothers, Doug and Mark; his late wife, Jill; his  nephew, Brian Watson; and later, his son, Kris. In 2013, Renee Whitson  joined the company, and the business became Appalachian Metal Works.

In 1986, the company moved into its new facility at 265 Wildwood Road in Lenoir, North Carolina, where we continue to serve customers with the same commitment to quality and hard work that has guided us from the beginning.

Over  the decades, our team has installed equipment throughout the East Coast  and as far west as Missouri. While our work began with a variety of  fabrication and installation applications, our experience has expanded  across numerous industries.

Since 1993, we have worked extensively with Sealed Air Corporation,  providing services at locations throughout the United States. Our work  has included machinery relocation and installation, hoist and conveyor  installation, machine guards, mezzanines, stairs and steps, handrails,  general maintenance, die removal, and much more.

We also work closely with customers to design and develop components for a wide range of industrial applications, bringing practical experience and problem-solving skills to every project.

In addition to our fabrication and installation capabilities, Appalachian Metal Works offers boom truck services to help customers safely and efficiently complete demanding jobs.
